Three day-old white bisected mouse suspended in glycerol in corked glass bottle.

DETAILS:
This mouse has originally been preserved in formaldehyde for one week to prevent putrefaction.
It has been bisected to give a clear view of the internal anatomy.
It has then been suspended in a glycerol medium with a very small quantity of formaldehyde.
